Dreaming of Bahama Breezes

Engagement parties are the perfect place for couples to foreshadow the wedding day for their guests. For Jennifer & Gino, this was exactly what they did. Since they will tie the knot in the Bahamas, Jen & Gino decided on a tropical themed engagement party.

Guests found their seats amongst starfish nestled in sand and lit by floating candles.

Cool turquoise popped brilliantly against the warm sand and orange tones, on the three tier centerpieces which included tropical blooms and even a live Betta fish!

The bar housed a small display of the couple's custom monogram and signature colors, accented with seashells and sandollars.

Jen & Gino sent their guests off with goodies from one of our signature candy buffets, complete with brown sugar "sand", chocolate shells, and more swimming fish.

Thank you Jen & Gino for letting us bask in the tropical rays of your engagement party! We can't wait for the wedding!

A Sparkly Snow-filled Fantasy

After months of working on warm toned events with bright reds and deep browns, we were extremely excited to work with Danielle & Ryan on their blue and silver "winter wonderland" themed wedding day.

With requests for "lots of snow, sparkle, and blue hues" we set to work creating a chilly environment of winter bliss.

The one hundred foot church aisle was highlighted with a bright white aisle runner adorned with a the couple's monogram handpainted in complentary blue tones.

Since Ryan popped the question in Central Park, NYC, the couple wanted to incorporate the city skyline graphic. On the place card table we created a three dimensional skyline silouette with glimmering lights and towering arrangements of white curly willow dripping in gems and fresh white rose buds.

A impressive arrangement of snowy white branches, glowing candlelight, and billowing ostrich feathers was the perfect spot for the custom guestbook and pictures of the couple throughout their relationship.

In keeping with the New York City references, the couple named the tables in the reception with their favorite destinations around the Big Apple. The table names hung from the jeweled branches of white manzanita trees.

Danielle's love of feathers and the couple's winter skyline icon made their way onto the custom card box with the glittering silouette of the skyline wrapping itself around the top tier and fluffy white feathers adorning the top. The card box and another jeweled tree sat on piles of "snow" creating a perfect wintery effect.

Danielle & Ryan, we hope you enjoyed your winter wonderland as much as

we enjoyed creating it!

A New Twist on "Falling" in Love

When we started designing Dawn & Jonathan's big day, the couple were looking for a traditional autumn experience - without leaves. So we dabbled with autumn tones - deep reds, rich browns and warm golds and harvest themed graphics.
However, after we met for the sample meeting, Dawn & Jonathan expressed using a gorgeous "fruit punch" tone and their love of "bling". We loved the idea and ran with it!

The ceremony welcomed guests with custom programs and ended with a display of rose cones adorned with the couple's monogram.

The cocktail hour sparkled with our signature glowing votive placecards and assorted monogrammed displays.

Amongst a sea of tables, the reception room housed an amazing photo arrangement of the bride & groom's parents and grandparents on their wedding days and golden anniversaries as well as the fabric wrapped guestbook and select engagement pictures of the happy couple.

A table full of rose petals and bright white votives was the perfect pedestal for the warm brown fabric on the card box which was highlighted with "fruit punch" ribbon and a rhinestone embellished monogram.

Thank you Dawn & Jonathan for letting us be a part of your non-traditional fall wedding. We had an "amazingly autumnlicious" time!

Red Hot Romance

The color red is associated with passion, love, vitality and beauty. No wonder it's a classic color choice for a wedding. For Lauren & Pete it was the PERFECT choice!

On a chilly October afternoon, we made The Venetian, in Garfield, NJ sizzle with red heat. Roses, candlelight and sparkling rhinestones added to the romantic warmth of the day.

The glow of almost 200 votive style place cards enticed the guests to find their seats.

The bride and groom's delicious signature drinks helped their guests feel warm on the inside!

After indulging in enticing signature drinks and dancing for hours, the guests kicked off their heels and kept on dancing in comfortable flip-flops compliments of the happy couple.

Thank you to our red hot couple, Lauren & Pete for letting us put our spin on the classic combination of red & romance!

We wish you the best of luck in love & life!

Luck O' the Bride & Groom

Sometimes a couple wants to showcase their family backgrounds as a part of their wedding experience. One of the best chances to do so is at the rehearsal dinner. We recently worked with a Melissa & Kevin - she's Italian, he's Irish. Since the wedding had glimmers of Melissa's Italian heritage the couple decided the rehearsal dinner would be a great place to go all out Irish!

Although the couple definitely wanted an Irish feel they did not want to clad the room in Irish flags and leprechauns. We felt it was best to give hints of the Emerald Isle in a modern way.

We deconstructed the colors of Ireland's flag with green bells of ireland, white hydrangea, and orange gerbera daisies. Glowing votives showcased a celtic knot, a symbol of eternity and unity.

While their guests sipped Guiness and nibbled on Irish soad bread they read about the tradition of Irish wedding bells which graced the tablescape. A tasty shamrock cookie was the perfect favor to finish the night.

Thank you Melissa & Kevin for the wonderful inspiration for this festive Irish gathering!

We Love Them Apples!

September strikes fear into the hearts of school aged children everywhere. For Tara & Mike, September struck love and excitement into their hearts. Tara's grade school related career sparked the apple icon idea. Mixed with a vibrant color scheme of royal purple and fresh apple green, Tara & Mike's big day was truly dynamic.

The Ceremony featured purple & green programs and fluffy pomanders of bright green hydrangea.

Leaf shaped place cards were pinned to glistening granny smith apples with delicate rhinestone pins.

The couple's engagement pictures were used to create an incredibly unique guestbook.

More stunning engagement pictures were displayed on the grand entry table amongst floating apples, glowing purple votives, cored apple candle holders, and deep purple stock flowers.

The apple theme even carried itself into the reception area where the couple named their tables after significant landmarks in their life together.

Thank you Tara & Mike for your "freshly picked" theme and a fantastic time!
We wish you all the best!

Bonjour Mademoiselles!

Ce qui est très fantastique? A Paris themed bridal shower dripping with the Eiffel Tower and bursts of hot pink, of course!

We spent the morning of June 13th filling Seasons in Washington Township, New Jersey with touches of pink and the iconic Eiffel Tower. Feathers, flowers, and everything girlie helped us set the mood for a fancy afternoon of fun.

Guests were greeted by placecards on dainty silver Eiffel Towers on a bed of pink feathers.

Un, Deux, Trois ... the ladies found their tables amongst pink peonies and bright green hydrangea peaking through the arches of the Eiffle Tower centerpieces and French table numbers.

Nestled amongst gifts, a card box, and a hot pink parasol, a black corset laced with ribbon and feather added to the sexy Parisian vibe and was the perfect perch for a black beret personalized with "la mariee" for "the bride."

After three yummy courses and piles of amazing gifts, an incredible dessert bar awaited! Overflowing with fleur de les cupcakes, chocolate truffles, Eiffle Tower cookies, and assorted pink confections, the twenty foot spread was a show stopping display.

Merci beaucoup Melissa! Thank you for letting us be a part of your day! We love working with you and Kevin and we can't wait for the wedding!
Avec l'amour -
