One Hot Couple + Snow = Steamy Winter Wonderland

We had the extreme pleasure of helping to create a fun & frosty atmosphere for the wedding reception of dear friends of mine, Dawn & Paul. Oddly enough, when Dawn came to us with a request for a centerpiece that was "creepy, elegant, sparkly", we knew exactly what she meant.

Working side by side with Dawn we put together a centerpiece of sparkly branches filled with crystals and sprinkled with fresh white orchid blossoms.

The personal touches on and sweet remembrances of the donation card added to the feeling of vintage enchantment.

Dawn & Paul's creative energy and rock & roll spirit is extremely inspiring, making it easy for us to add some of the couple's personality into other nooks and cranies - so we sprinkled our touch on the placecard table, guest book sign-in table, and sweetheart table.

Ending in an early evening of glimmering flecks of snow and sparks of love, this incredible couple floated away together arm in arm. Dawn & Paul, we wish you the absolute best of luck in your journey together and appreciate you letting us be a part of your day!

Welcome!

Hey All!!! Sooooo ... welcome to our blog!!! We are usually cutting, taping, and customizing so blogging is a new experience for us but we are excited to get started and can't wait to hear what you have to say!

If you haven't heard of us before, here's a little bit of info on us:
Us = Demetra & Erin
We met while working at a restaurant together.
We started drinking wine and chatting about creative things.
We harrassed the restaurant owners into letting us design and decorate for the wine tastings they host.
Demetra got engaged.
We got crazy excited and started designing her big day.
Erin got engaged.
We got crazy excited (again) and started designing her big day.
Erin got married and everyone loved it!
Demetra got married and everyone loved it!
We started getting calls from friends and family to help them with dinner parties, sweet sixteens, their big days ... all unpaid of course.
We helped.
We decided we could make our talents into a business.
We were right!!!

So here we are, 4 years later - from co-workers, to friends, to partners ...

With roughly 2 dozen events under our belts over the last 2 years, we have really grown and consider ourselves to be a fun, fresh and creative team that can help you with all of your event needs.

As we get the hang of this "blogging thang" we will let you know about our newest services and items, fun things we are doing, and all the great people we are working with. Stay tuned ... this is going to be fun!
